UPDATE: KC is a service dog for a veteran. He is with his family & love his veteran! <3
This is Jagen Geist. His name means hunted ghost, because he evaded capture for so long! He had been on his own for an unknown amount of time until animal control finally got him. For all that, he is loving and easy going--a real goof ball! He is so good with incoming pups that our director has made him a permanent part of her pack!

Update: Ryder is in his forever home!

Bella
Clearly, Bella is not a German Shepherd Dog, but the good Lord decreed that she should come to us to find her place in this world! As it turns out, she isn't happy as a service dog. So, she has gone to California to train with the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation! We are so excited for her future.
Presley
This little furry bundle of love is Presley! He is learning to become a seizure alert and assistance dog for his very special little girl.

Creed
This is Creed, a beautiful long-haired shepherd we recently acquired. He is young and we are getting to know him, but so far, so good! He is super cuddly and gets along well with the other dogs. This kid's future is bright!
Update: He is now paired up to be a BattleBuddy with a veteran! Those two are inseparable!!
Ace
This is Ace, with his new little girl, Kateyln. Ace is a former seeing eye dog from Maine! He is helping Katelyn with her own vision problems, and he is her constant companion. We had very little work to do with this smart guy. His pace was too slow for his handler in Maine, and she kindly donated him to us. We foresee only wonderful things with these two!
Jack-Jack
Jack-Jack is a new intake that came to us as a seizure from another county. He is just a young boy! He had no training at all-he wasn't even house trained! However, he is super smart and extremely cuddly.

Prince
Prince is a chocolate lab who was rescued from a heartbreaking situation by a kind hearted young man. He found us at just the right moment and is now in the home with a very special person who needed him as much as he needed them.

Dozer
Dozer was an owner surrender at our local humane society. He is currently living in the southern pack and learning how to be a dog. He spent a lot of time by himself, and he didn't even know his name! However, he has various issues yet is very smart. His future is bright!
Update: Dozer is now in a loving home with three other German Shepherds and a wonderful owner.
Brandy
Brandy was surrendered directly to us by her owner. Her owners had no ill will--they simply couldn't give this girl the time she needed to help her overcome some of her issues. Right now, she is pretty reactive to other dogs, so she is in the northern pack learning proper social skills.
Update: Brandy went to live with an amazing family with 4 kids and has bonded to their kids in a profound way! She is spoiled rotten!

Sammy
Sammy is Standard Poodle who was donated to our program by Raven Rock Standard Poodles in Maryland. He is just a baby. He is growing up in the southern pack. He will be socialized and trained to be a task assistance dog--he will be able to open doors, fetch various items, and retrieve dropped items. Stay tuned for progress on this smart little guy!
Gandalf aka Gandy
Gandy was an owner who surrendered directly to us. He is a young guy who is getting his service dog chops by working with our President and founder and her own service dog. He's smart and friendly and he just needed a little guidance on how to exist in this world.
UPDATE: Gandy has graduated and been placed with a veteran! He is THRIVING.

Now, she is with a veteran and ruling the roost!! She is a spoiled PTSD Service Dog who takes care of her battle buddy!
